Biography

Ezendu Ariwa is Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Strategic Information Systems at London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.  He holds the position of Visiting Professor in Management Sciences and Computer Science at the Karakurum International University, Pakistan; Visiting Professor in ICT and Visiting Resource Expert at the Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh; Visiting Affiliate of the Green IT Observatory, RIMT University, Australia and Visiting Affiliate of ICT University, USA.

Ezendu is a Chartered FELLOW of the British Computer Society (CITP, FBCS) and a Fellow of the Institute of Information Technology Training (FIITT). He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of United Kingdom (FHEA), member of the Elite Group of The British Computer Society (BCS) and member of British Institute of Facilities Management. Ezendu is member of Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (MIEEE), Member of the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society/Chapter UK&RI, member of IEEE Computer Society, member of the Association of Computing Machinery (MACM) and registered with the UK Council for Health Informatics Professions (UKCHIP).

Ezendu is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Green Computing and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of E-Technology as well as the Associate Editor of the International Journal of E-Politics and the Associate Editor of International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies (IJDST).   He is also Assistant Editor and member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the International Journal of Leadership and Management Practice, International Journal of Professional Management, Journal of Information Technology Review (JITR), International Journal of Applied Management and International Journal of Applied Human Resources Management.

He has published various articles in the areas of Information Systems, Knowledge Management, E-Commerce, E-Learning and Technology Enhanced Learning, Green Computing & Healthcare Informatics, Informatics Efficacy & Enterprise and Facilities Management, Corporate Social Responsibility as well as Green Computing, Healthcare Informatics and Climatization.

Ezendu organised the following International Conference and London Symposium in 2009: International Conference on Application of Digital Applications and Web Technologies(ICADIWT) technically co-sponsored by IEEE UK&RI Computer Chapter) and Symposium on Green Computing and Renewable Energy (co-sponsored by IEEE UK&RI Chapter); In 2010, organised  International Symposium on Green Computing & Healthcare Informatics;  International Symposium on Innovative Women Entrepreneurship & E-Learning for Emerging Market

He is a Member of Policy Co-ordination Committee of the International Research Foundation for Development (A Corporation of NGO in SPECIAL Consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations).
